On p. 6:
I picked up a piece of paper from the piano. I read it over, sensing an intense interest from Henry. [I wish I had laid this out more clearly.] It was a fax from Fenton Kearney, the managing trustee of the Kearney School.Remember this zstory occurs before e-mail was so widely used as now, so faxes had more prominence than now. That Will picks up a letter clearly written to Henry and reads it is really minding other people's business. Is a nosiness stemming from the need to protect himself? I don't think I would be so nosy.
What do you think about this? I'd like to know. Post a comment.
